Hi All! this is a bit old but i wanted to give it a bit of space from my half moon manicure (which is similar. here's a link to the turoial: www.youtube.com ) It was seen on the runways at New York Fashion Week, so maybe this trend is here to stay... for a little while at least. I think this look is pretty amazing and chic, and yet so simple! Unfortunately I can no longer find the image that I used as a basis for this tutorial but it was originally a matte black nail over a foiled gold reverse tip. Trust me it looked HOT. My look is much subtler but i still like it. hope you all enjoy this tutorial!! ps. i'm still pseudo away, so if you comment/message and i don't get back to you right away, that's why. Card Tutorial - Mother's Day (Shabby Chic Flowers)

And for something new, I have made a batch of them to sellso if you want to get your hands on one, there are a few for sale at my Etsy Shop, wendynasmithdesigns. The flowers on this card have been handmade by using a paper scraper by Making Memories, then scrunched up and lightly sanded to create the shabby chic effect. Theyve been worked so much the paper has almost a suede feel to itvery tactile! The bottom of the card is made out of vellum with the sentiment embossed in brown ink. The colour scheme is very Spring-like and reflects my mood and the weather here in Leicester when I made them! ;0) Thanks for watching, please rate & subscribe!!
